Who we are and how we choose what we recommend
Nunca Sin Luz ("never without power") was born after the blackout of 28 April 2025, when we realised how unprepared we were. This site is the guide we wish we'd had that day, now also in English for everyone who lives in Spain.

How we review each product
We start from the official spec sheet
Capacity, output, battery type and warranty always come from the manufacturer's website, never from other reviews.
We translate it to your home
We calculate how many hours it will keep a fridge, a router or a laptop running, using real consumption figures for appliances sold in Spain.
We read reviews from buyers in Spain
We look for recurring problems with customer service, warranty claims or delivery.
We update every quarter
If a model is discontinued or a better one appears, we change the recommendation and the date on the guide.
How we're funded
Some links are affiliate links: if you buy through them, the shop pays us a commission and you pay the same price. No brand pays to appear or reviews our copy before it's published. If a product doesn't convince us, we don't recommend it, even if it pays a higher commission.
